Contract Proctection, Professionalism & Experience

As a Smart Energy customer you will have the comfort of a detailed and pre-agreed, no surprises contract covering the scope of work to be undertaken.  This will include, but is not limited to, design and system performance, commissioning, warrantees and payment schedules.

Smart Energy is a member of SEANZ - the Sustainable Electricity Association of New Zealand - and we support the implementation of industry standards and accreditation of small scale renewable system installations.  Click for more information on SEANZ.

Smart Energy personnel have undergone technical training courses with equipment from Fronius International, Outback, SMA and Bergey Windpower Corporation.  We have designers and installers currently enrolled in the newly developed SEANZ accreditation courses.

Locally, Smart Energy recently won the SEANZ national award for the largest Stand Alone PV Installation in New Zealand.  Internationally, Smart Energy has supplied equipment, assisted in installation and provided local training of Afghanistan’s first windfarm - ten Bergey Excel turbines installed in the remote Panjshir Valley.
